About

Hello!  Welcome to my blog!

I started this blog as a way to get myself un-stuck.

A life-long journal writer, I have always found that writing is the best way for me to sort out my thoughts.  Unfortunately, I find myself revisiting the same decisions, conflicts, and emotional struggles over and over again… over-analyzing without ever moving forward.

Well, this year I moved forward.  I quit my job, got married, moved (temporarily) to Singapore, and started my life-long dream of writing a book.

I use this blog as a way to track my progress on specific projects in my life, hold myself accountable, and find a community of like-minded individuals on similar journeys.  You can find my project updates on the first of every month… or (when I’m lazy) at some point during the first week or so.  I also write about relationships, writing, work, and travel… or anything else that catches my imagination.

A note about sharing:

I am happy and flattered that some people want to repost my writing!  You are welcome to share my work if you include appropriate attributions and link to my blog!  (That said, I reserve the right to have my work removed from your site if I feel it is being used inappropriately.)

A note about guest posting:

I have not had any guest posts yet, but if you write about relationships, writing, work, travel, or anything else you think would be a good fit for my blog, please let me know!

  1. Hi, Addie…thank you so much for “following” me…I love being invited to make new connections 🙂 You sound like just the type of person who I can relate to…and, who will be able to relate to me. I am a huge fan of growth…thanks in advance for the inspiration 🙂
